You need an Angkor Pass to enter. A 1-day pass costs $37, a 3-day pass is $62, and a 7-day pass is $72. Children under 12 enter free with a valid passport.
A guide is not mandatory. However, a licensed guide is highly recommended. They explain the complex history and symbolism of the site.
It is located on the standard Grand Circuit route, just north of Angkor Thom. Many tours pair it with Neak Pean and Pre Rup.

One of the best Tours I ever been! I did a private guide and Chhay was fantastic not only showing me the temples but also giving me lessons that I Will carry for Life! Our Driver, Sombath, was also wonderful , careful about driving and giving me cold water and cold tows All the time.

Excellent tour and excellent tour guide. Very unusual tour as it was visiting 2 of the least known temples in the Siem Reap area. Spent a lot of the time in a tuk tuk but lunch is also included in this tour.
